Dr. Justin Kolnick

The founder of Advanced Endodontics of Westchester, Dr. Kolnick is not only an accomplished endodontist, but is also a world authority on laser-assisted endodontics and frequent lecturer at international endodontic conferences across the globe. Dr. Kolnick attended dental school at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. After graduating cum laude in 1977, he was awarded the university scholarship for overseas postgraduate study. In 1982, he graduated from the postdoctoral endodontic program at Columbia University in the City of New York. Dr. Kolnick entered into private practice limited to endodontics in 1982 with his teacher and mentor, Dr. Marvin Firdman, in White Plains, New York. There, he helped expand the practice to Mount Kisco, New York, and develop the first microendodontic practice in Westchester County. Dr. Kolnick has been committed to endodontic education, first as an associate clinical professor in endodontics at Columbia University and then as an attending at Westchester Medical Center and associate clinical professor in endodontics at New York Medical College. He is a volunteer speaker for the American Association of Endodontists and has lectured extensively on a local, national and international level. Dr. Kolnick has also published numerous articles on endodontics. Out of the office, he enjoys music, movies and theatre, and keeps fit with hiking, spinning, skiing and scuba. Dr. Kolnick and his wife reside in Westchester, New York.
