Our practice was established in 1954 by Dr Marvin Firdman and was one of the first specialty endodontic practices in Westchester County. Dr Justin Kolnick joined the practice in 1982 and with the introduction of the operating microscope, pioneered microendodontics in the county. Dr. Kolnick is committed to performing the highest level of endodontics in state-of-the-art facilities.
Office hours are Monday - Friday from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm and Saturdays from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm. The Mt. Kisco office is closed on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The field of surgical endodontics has undergone radical change over the past few years. The evolution of the surgical endodontic microscope, new techniques with superior materials and instruments has enabled the endodontic surgeon to dramatically improve the prognosis of procedures such as apicoectomy, internal and external resorption repair, as well as the repair of iatrogenic and pathological perforations.
Based on current techniques, the success rate of uncomplicated apicoectomy with retrofilling should approximate that of conventional endodontics and the extraction of teeth simply because of the historically unpredictable outcome of apicoectomy may no longer be considered standard of care.
